On the day

How Log Delivery Works

We deliver every day, and your delivery day is confirmed when you book, so you know exactly which day to expect us.

The Sizes We Deliver

  • When you order a tonne bag, it's a vented builders bag measuring 80 by 80 by 80 centimetres, holding roughly 180 logs, and we set it down as close to your log store as the truck can get. You keep hold of the bag, and it comes back to us with your next delivery.
  • For bulk log delivery, a tipper load goes straight off the truck in one go, wherever it can reach, roughly four tonne bags' worth of wood.
  • One tonne bag is as small as we go.

Kiln Dried, Delivered the Same Way

Kiln dried wood is dried to order, so just mention it when you order, and you get kiln dried logs delivered the same way.

Adding Nets to Your Delivery

Add kindling nets or log nets to a tonne bag or tipper load going to the same address, and there's no minimum, so even just one is fine. Order them on their own, with no bag or tipper load alongside, and the minimum is 20 kindling nets or 20 log nets.

Tight access?

Getting Ready for Your Delivery

If your address has tight access, tell us in advance, whether that's a terraced street with cars parked across the drive or a neighbour's car that might need moving. We'll flag your delivery and call ahead so you have time to sort it.

Our truck

3.5t tipper. Most country lanes are no problem. It's usually parked cars in town that hold things up.

Drop times

A tipper takes about three minutes once we're parked. Tonne bags are about ten minutes for the whole drop.

Drop locations

A firm, hard surface is best for a tipper load. On soft ground or gravel we'll lay boards down first so nothing sinks or scatters. Tonne bags can sit just about anywhere.

Order by WhatsApp or text on 07734 374774, or send it through the contact form, and you'll get an answer straight away, any time of day. If there's something this page hasn't covered, or you need a bigger or trade order sorted, give us a ring. The line's open every day between 8 and 6. Once your order's confirmed, you can pay online through the link we send, on the day itself, or by invoice.
