Log Delivery to Billingshurst and the Villages Nearby

Log Delivery here runs every day, using our own truck rather than a courier. The nearby villages of Barns Green and Kirdford are also among the places we deliver to most. Both are inside the same free delivery area, and so is Ifold. Once your order's confirmed, we'll let you know which day to expect us, and for stock orders, most weeks it goes out the same week you order.

If your address has tight access, such as a terraced street with cars parked across the drive, tell us in advance and we'll flag the delivery and call ahead.

Our stock

Seasoned Logs and Kiln Dried Logs

There are five of us, and everything we sell is locally sourced British hardwood, predominantly ash, with some beech and oak too, cut, split and dried at our own yard in nearby Wisborough Green. Seasoned Logs are air dried under cover, the traditional way, until there's less than 20% moisture left in the wood, and it's what most customers order. Kiln Dried Logs are dried to order, so just mention it when you get in touch.

A tonne bag is an 80 by 80 by 80 centimetre vented builders bag holding roughly 180 logs, and it's the smallest order we take. A tipper load is roughly four tonne bags' worth, tipped wherever the truck can reach.

Add to any order

Kindling, Log Nets and Firelighters

A few extras are worth knowing about:

Add kindling nets or log nets to a tonne bag or tipper load, and there's no minimum, so one of each is fine
Order nets on their own, and the minimum is 20 kindling nets or 20 log nets
Kindling nets are kiln dried softwood, log nets are kiln dried hardwood

We also stock natural wood wool firelighters, curls of natural wood that catch the moment they meet a match, so the kindling's alight without any fuss. There's no paraffin in them and no chemicals, just the wood itself.
