The kiln works evenly all the way through each piece, until the moisture left inside is under 20%. Because there's less moisture left, it catches quicker and burns hotter and cleaner, since less of the fire's heat has to go into driving that moisture out first. It's kiln dried firewood, made for anyone who wants their wood bone dry.
Five friends run the business from West Sussex, and everything we sell is cut, split and dried at our own yard in Wisborough Green, kiln dried included. Our kiln dried wood comes from the same British hardwood stock as everything else we cut. It's sourced locally, mostly ash, with some beech and oak too. So whether it's ash, beech or oak, they're all kiln dried hardwood logs.
Kiln Dried Logs come in the same two sizes as our seasoned stock, from a single bag right up to a full tipper load.
Whatever size you need, our kiln dried logs for sale are only dried once you've been in touch.
Kiln dried softwood goes into our kindling nets, and kiln dried hardwood goes into the log nets. If you're already having a tonne bag or tipper load delivered, you can add nets with no minimum at all, even just one. If you just want nets on their own, with no bag or tipper load alongside, the minimum is 20 kindling nets or 20 log nets.

Once your order's booked in, you can pay for your logs online through the link in your confirmation message, pay in person on the day, or pay by invoice, whatever's easiest.
Most of our stock is Seasoned Logs, air dried under cover at the yard and kept under 20% moisture, ready to burn.
